[Herefordshire] hard disk problems

Hi.

If its in a USB disk you would need to put it in an IDE bay in the machine in order for Spinrite et al to access it.

tried the 'slap' and the 'knock' it is a Samsung 80GB in a Lacie
(designed by Porsche) external case.
