I mount my windows server share like this:
iun /etc/fstab at the end place
//10.0.0.2/personal /media/personal smbfs
uid=phil,credentials=/etc/fstab.smb 0 0
where
10.0.0.2 is your server
personal is the sharename
/media/personal is the directory on the linux system you want to mount
the share to
phil = your local linux username
and then in /etc/fstab.smb I have
username=linux
password=linux
where linux is the username and password to the windows share.
once all this in in there do a
/etc/init.d/smb restart
/etc/init.d/netfs restart
Any help?
