[HLUG] Changing ISP

Hello,

I am hoping to change my Broadband ISP.

Now, I have a Migration Code [MAC] from my present supplier.
However the ISP I wish to move to, tells me that there will be a 6-14 day delay, whilst the necessary bits are put in place.

What I need to know is whether my present ISP BB connection will remain up until the new ISP takes over?

Anyone done this please?
