Hi,

Got it eventually, by bittorrent - was ok - no idea what the downside is,
will try it on a VMWare slice and see what it offers.

Best wishes to all,

Steve

Hi,

Yes - the furthest I have got is to the basket, I can order the coupon
ok but when you go to the checkout you get the error page about the
servers being hammered etc. Looking on the net suggest they have done
similar offers before, and that they apparently have a package manager
which charges for installation of programs into the system! If I can
get it it would be interesting to see what comes with it, but I won't
loose any sleep if I can't get it.

The other side of the coin is why are they offering all these free
downloads of the introductory OS? I am wondering if their sales are
low, and they want to make money on the package manager?

Andrew.

program page and cd downloads and downloaded linspire using bittorrent
as the FTP had a cue of like 300+ peps waitng.
