[HLUG] mounting EXT2

Hi
The 'defaults' option includes rw and auto, ie the partition will be mounted
at boot time with write access.
Can you mount it successfully as root? If you can then I don't understand
what's going wrong at boot. If you can't is there some error message in the
dmesg log?
