[HLUG] I GOT SSH TO WORK!

i am very pleased with myself. it's taken me a while and i've had a
few false starts, but i've finally got ssh to work.
i generate the ssh keys on my linux box with ssh-keygen, copied one of
the keys to the mac at work using my usb key and used the mac to log
into my pc.
the first thing i did was install lynx on my pc with apt-get, then i
ran it and used it to access my gmail account and write this email. so
now i am running a text based web browser on a remote machine. i
reckon that's a respectable level of geekiness.
feeling smug.
