+++Calling all high flyers!
Fancy flying around the world while sitting in a real Royal
Navy Westland Wasp helicopter? Then visit the LinuxUser &
Developer Expo at Olympia on 20 and 21 April where you can
take to the skies - virtually if not literally - courtesy of
the Fleet Air Arm Museum and FlightGear.org.
FlightGear is an Open Source, multi-platform, cooperative
flight simulator development project. At the Expo, the
Westland Wasp will be linked to a FlightGear simulator to
demonstrate the flexibility of the FlightGear application,
and allow visitors to try it first hand.
Elsewhere on the packed show floor, you'll be able to seek
advice, see Linux in action and find out about the latest
developments from over 70 Linux-oriented organisations,
including IBM, Red Hat, Rackspace, SuSE, Intel, Novell,
Sybase, SAP, Acucorp, Open Source Development Laboratories
and OpenForum Europe.
Register for free before the show at www.linuxuserexpo.com
(tickets cost £15 on the day) and you could win a unique
Linux-powered Yopy PDA!
I look forward to seeing you there!
