Hi,
On the subject of compact cameras, my brother got on very well with a canon ixus, then got an even smaller casio 4MPixel and fits it in a shirt pocket, mem cards are cheap, digital depot (Stevenage) being one cheap local source for cams and cards.

I have installed Kino, firewire card (not running yet) and a new CPU fan! I took a look at cinenerlla, but lacked the PC horsepower, or render farm!!

I will keep you posted.
