I just updated my entry at http://counter.li.org to reflect my current
PC configuration. It's just a list of Linux users broken down by
geographical areas. I'm user 373259. Anyone else on there? It might be
worth contacting those in the area who include contact details to
recruit more members.

I'm quite interested in methods of associating location with web
sites/people/etc. My site contains the metadata to get it listed on
http://geourl.org and I also have it in my FOAF file. There's all sorts
of cool stuff being done with Google maps these days as well.

I may not be able to make it to the next meeting again. Maybe someone
can post an update after the event.
