Personally I think it's nice of Tony B to offer this kit to the LUG
first. We're supposed to be helping each other. I'm in favour of people
advertising their excess kit, but others may prefer to keep it off the
main mailing list.
As a possible alternative I've added a marketplace forum to our Frappr page
http://www.frappr.com/hertfordshirelug
Perhaps at some time the main LUG site will become more interactive and
have it's own forum, but I'm sure Nicolas has enough to keep him busy.
Meanwhile we can make use of this free service. If we do get our own
forum then Frappr can be updated to point to it.
I have no direct interests in the site, but I'm generally interested in
location-related services. At least you will be able to see where the
seller is.
I think you probably at least need to register on Frappr before you can
post to the forums there.
