Fedora's Revisor help build something suitably lean?

Hi Darren,

I have to confess I was using RH partly in the generic sense (c.f.
Ubuntu/Debian). So, yes, Centos is possible for the clients. Ther server
has to be RH but that doesnt mean the clients do. In the trials I have
done so far I have got the app running on a Centos box and have an image
from that box booting to a diskless box (if I remember right.) However
the image is huge (in my diskless client terms :o) ) and takes a while
to download. The app only needs an X11 window to run in (as in no
windows manager required I think/hope) and I am keen to strip the OS
back to just about only enough to run X, the app and have the special
data interface card drivers it needs.

Obviously if we could get to somewhere near a DSL / Knoppix sized
version to start that would be superb. By that point I should know
enough to be able to pare it down to the bone for my specific
application.
