Kylix is the linux version of delphi which is a RAD tool that seems to have
inherited at least some of the attributes of Vdbase 7.1 etc. I was thinking
you could use Kylix for the devlopement and front end and local tables. Then
use something like Borland databse engine to connect to MYSQL later if you
want to use server client. According to Linux Format magazine anything
written in Kylix can be "easily"?? be re-compiled in Delphi to use on
windows systems.
