Dear friends,

the idea was not to build a thin client or thin server. No boot from network 
then.

The idea behind was to have a self-sufficient machine, low consumption low 
noise, high input/output throughput. The idea is to have it easily 
expandable, above all from the point of view of storage and I/O capabilities. 
It could  really be multipurpose.

Use

1)Developing (or developed) countries where power availability is variable
2)Self sufficient emergency fileserver, webserver, e-mail server for emergency 
humanitarian intervention.
3)Optimal solution for small SOHO (both as file, web, e-mail server and 
eventually desktop).
4)Electronic house applications (if anyone is interested!)

Furthermore, it would be nice to have it for counter-tendency ... :-)... doing 
the best with as little as possible.
