Hi!
I will keep your suggestions in mind.
I am only using Word to write my pages at the moment as I am using
Windows, possibly I might use Writer or something else under Linux
unless I have a crack at writing pages in raw HTML.
I think the problem I had linking to the Hudersfield Linux usergroup
site was that the File Manager I used which comes with my ISP by default
which is done through Geocities split the URL onto two lines for some
reason I can't understand.
When I put my email address on my site, I created a Hyperlink in Word
and typed it into the edit field. It may be another problem with me
using Geocities or a MS Word problem.
I don't know if this is going to happen yet but I am in discussion with
my dad about possibly purchasing a Braillenote which is a Braille
Display but it does more than just Display Braille as it is a Notetaker.
It works on Windows CE but in theory it should be usable as a terminal
in Linux if Brltty supports it but I suppose it depends on the connection.
I say I am in discussion with dad about purchasing one as they are over
4000 pounds and also as I am currently studying Spanish at Huddersfield
Tec so it is something I am thinking of purchasing for my course as I
need access to Braille and I am not sure if the translation software
they have for their embosser at Huddersfield support Spanish code.
