[Hudlug] laptop working with speech and audio

got some good news for ben and anyone else who has helped me get 
up and running with ubuntu.
hardy now works with speech and audio at the same time.
it was suggested on the orca list i change my sound preferences 
in gnome to pulsesyc in the sound devices tab and this works on 
my laptop.
however it doesn't appear to work on my e-machine as i get an 
error message about unsupported sound device or something like 
that and alsa doesn't appear to be able to support both orca with 
espeak synthesiser and audio so although my laptop doesn't have 
as much memory as my desktop, sound support seems to be better 
although i am having problems copying a dvd in ubuntu as i was 
hoping to copy some horror movies for my girlfriend or rather the 
person i am hoping to have a relationship with who ben has spoken 
to.
