I am enthusiastic about displays at my local (bracknell) computer
fairs, and interest there is gently encouraging. My mostly regular
attendance has become a low level de facto beginners lug which is
amusing given my own lack of specialist expertise :-)
Since xmas there has been a steady trickle of more determined linux
wannabe people.
I have found the brand of 'Infopoint Project' to be most incredibly
useful when explaining my advocacy presence.
It is also the identity which british computer fairs know me as -
following the original contact with them from jono bacon.
An individual wandering about is one thing, a volunteer of a UK
volunteers project called 'Infopoint' gives much more credibility. It
is most useful, and is well worth enhancing.
