Hello,

First of all, a big 'thank you' to you all for turning up last week
for SFD. It was good to meet such a diverse range of people who all
have a common interest in free software, and the variety in topics of
conversation around the room was great.

I'd be interested in your honest feedback about how we might make SFD
2014 even better. My own feeling was that while we'd all brought along
lots of kit, we didn't really play with much of it. I'm not sure if
that mattered or not though.
Was there anything you particularly liked? Or disliked? What should we
do differently next year?

Also, during the discussions there were a few people who had suggested
they'd like to meet up again at some point in the near future.
Would you prefer a meeting focussed around a specific talk or topic
(and if so, what), or are we looking for a more laid back 'social'
chat?
We have the offer of the use of Nadine House again, so if that suits
everyone it seems like a nice centrally located spot.

When is a good time? I suppose there never will be a
one-size-fits-all, but are weekends better than weekday evenings?

I'm after your ideas really. It would be a shame to have managed to
get you all together, and then not keep the momentum going!

Let me know what you think and thanks again for your interest,
Dan.

PS: Replies via the mailing list would be best, as everyone can follow
the conversation then. If you're not already subscribed, see:
