Yes, you maybe should have done it two a while ago. I was using Sid a
couple of years ago. Mission critical applications should benefit from
one of the 2.6 kernels of not only in productivity but also in
longetivity. Hopefully you will se a difference in memory application
management.

The only reason why you should NOT upgrape is if you can see no reason
to want to. I also dont see the point in you upgrading to a 2.4 kernel
when there are 2.6 stable ones.
