[Klug-general] Mythtv woes

Ok, I left the last KLUG feeling a little bit jealous of kevins myth box, so
a few days later I found myself in possession of a Epia Nehemiah 100000, an
indiscriminate black box and a Nova-t.
I cobbled it all together without any major problems and then the fun began.
To cut a long story short i'm now on install number 5 and making steady
progress. I've been following the walk through at www.parker1.co.uk and
filling in gaps with god knows how many other how to but now I'm stuck.

I had TV playing nicely but no TV guide
So I went through the tv_grab_uk_rt --configure and mythfilldatabase and now
I have the guide but no tv
When I go to the watch tv I just get a black screen and 'unable to open
device' in the terminal
Stopping the backend and going back into mythtv-setup  I'm then unable to
select my card, which worked fine before.

Anyone got any ideas?
