[Klug-general] Grub + x86_64

Hi all

I have compiled a pure 64bit linux os, every thing seems fine except I
want to use grub, however, I can't get it to compile, Iilo works but I
don't want to use that, I prefer grub, does anyone know how to compile
grub from source on a x86_64 system?

the error I get is :C compiler cannot create executables

the gcc is version 4.1.1 and I used this to compile the whole system so I
know it works
