[Klug-general] Losing hair for Asterisk

I have just installed A at H 2.8, but the new freePBX interface does not 
have a option for dealing with "Incoming Calls". This option has 
settings for:"Send Incoming Calls to:" which allows you to specify a 
ring group or IVR or extension... its kind of essential to get past step1 !

I have hunted around in circles for hours, changed modems to known
compatibles etc. I cant find the right conf to work on. any know how 
does one configure answering of the bloody PSTN on 2.8?

Am I missing something thats staring at me, like a large elephant?
