A two stage process for membership is required because spam engines are
clever enough now to spot an mailling list, join it, spam the hell out
of it and then leave. We dont want that. If you see the amount of spam
that hits the list and goes no where then you would understand why
someone has to vet subs.
Sorry but until the world is spam free this stays.

Good idea. Any web site member is welcome to subject links.

Likewise the news articles can be submitted by website users.

I did have a PHP-Fusion add on in a nice calendar format. But it was
cumbersome and only showed one month at a time. It was good in that it
could count down to next events etc. I will take another look at this as
there may be improvements.

Like wise. Either add a comment to the existing venues or I can give
some members more control of 'doing' content.

Likewise everyone submit links, articles and news. The site cant be
created by a couple of people, this is a community site. Use it or it dies.

Yes it was a shame my machine wasnt powerful enough to do Blender
justice. Perhaps another time I will bring my desktop machine.
Glad the cluster demo went OK though.
