Contry to popular beleif, I don't want to annoy karl, either of them.
Ubuntu has its place, Fedora has its place, Even GENTOO! has its place.
And recognising where that place is is important.

With everything it usually comes down to a matter of taste, and like we
can argue for years if vanilla or chocolate is better icecream, we can
argue for years on best distro. Doesn't get anywhere. 

So, back to well rounded discussions backup with technical merit, rather
than pointless willy waving to score cheap points off people. Mike's
mail from last night makes this point well.
