[Klug-general] Ekiga or Skype and Webcams

I've just got a webcam (Logitech Quickcam Messenger) and seem to have it
working on Fedora (Core 6). The trickiest part was getting the
microphone on the camera working and now that it is I will probably have
to change to a headset anyway because of echo echo!

Second success of the weekend: managed to configure Ekiga (used to be
called GnomeMessenger) and called their loopback number. Looks like
things are pretty much working. I might still need to open something on
the firewall of my router or do some port-forwarding in order to receive
calls.

So now I'm in need of someone else so I can try it out. I know some
folk have Skype, and I see there is a Beta with video on it, so we could
try that out too/instead.

Anyone with the time to spare to try and set up a call, or a group to
try a conference, or any advice from anyone who's done it would be great.

Mike
