[Klug-general] Symbolic Link

My AMD64 Mandriva system has generated both /usr/lib and /usr/lib64. 
Mandriva has put some libraries necessary for vmware in /lib64 and I 
need to put a symlink into /usr/lib to make it look like the library 
file is in /usr/lib before I compile up vmware.

Now my aged brain has forgotten how to make a symlink. If someone could 
remind of the comd line I would be most grateful.
