I'm happy to give and talk on drupal if people want me to. Perhaps at the
next  meet?

as for resources drupal  the websites and forums are excellent as expected.

there are also a couple of book available from Packt that are good. There is
a basic one and a more advanced one about theming.

I've found the best way to learn though was to chuck in on a local web
server and just start playing with it!
