Bullshit!
The context of this thread is whether or not Linux is gaining a foothold
through specialised hardware devices, with custom OS's which meet
consumer specific needs.
If you want to take this as a further opportunity to attempt to lambast
me and my thoughts then you truly are a small minded fool.
I believe it is a specialised bit of kit because it was developed to be,
small light 'handbag' computer. Its not an off the shelf box. End of, if
you think I mean that it has some quirky design, then again, small
minds. My point is that EEEPC is specifically designed to be what it is,
not that it isn't run of the mill architecture. Of course its bloody run
of the mill architecture, nothing these days isn't!
Would you call an n800 specialised using the same context you are? I
wouldn't its got the same hardware as pretty much every phone on the
planet, minus the phone.
