Hi,

Been using Cognos at work for many years, looking to buy the new web
based thing, very impressive. But while checking out alternatives found
a very good OS solution called Pentaho (http://www.pentaho.com/). Took a
while to get my head around it but very impressive web front end and
nice Java construction tools. And as it's Java works on both Linux and
Windows servers/clients. Currently setting up a large data set and cubes
to put it through it's paces.
