Thanks for the summary Dan.  Yup - there ain't no way anyone is hacking 
our current site (Although frankly it's only as good as people's ssh 
passwords!  Perhaps something else for discussion.) but it's not exactly 
exciting is it?  And it relies on Colin being a) awake, b) prepared to 
carry on coding HTML more or less by hand.

I'm officially sysadmin for the server - but frankly that's only because 
I didn't step back fast enough.  I do have a long a chequered IT career, 
which makes me naturally suspicious of things shiny and new - which is 
possibly another good qualification for the job.  However my hands-on 
experience is pretty out of date.  What's more a number of people are in 
the sudoers file with full access - so they can step in at any time.

So the idea was to have a bit of a debate about what to do next and see 
if we can come to some sort of agreement.
