The problem is probably with Karmic rather than your program, I'm
running it at home, and its has been suffering some major stability
issues, libc seams to have had some a couple of large updates over the
last few days, so hopefully the problem has now been solved....
If you run the dev version of Ubuntu you have to expect the odd Segv
from time to time I guess.
