[Klug-general] concurrency in Mandriva2008.1

G'day all,
Is anyone able to point me to the file in Mandriva 2008.1 which 
corresponds to the bog standard /etc/init.d/rc ?

I don't have that exact file and I want to try out some of the 'Boot 
faster' tweaks given in the most recent edition of Linux Format. If I 
change CONCURRENCY from 'none' to 'shell' it seems my bootup time will 
use both processors on my AMD.

But it seems Mandriva ain't typical.

Any ideas gratefully received.
