My X60s gets way too hot (under the palms) running Ubuntu or Debian, but
a colleague who runs Fedora (BLAG distro) tells me their X60 runs very cool.
There is a hardware issue with X6x fans - they do wear and expire, and I
find need a good brush/blow-out regularly (just a keyboard removal job
nothing severe). Praps this is why there are so many for fans for sale
on ebay.
