[Klug-general] cloud clients

Does anyone here have any gems of wisdom to share about cloud clients? By
which I mean thin clients with a basic OS for access cloud based services
such as Google apps but with the option to boot into a full virtual desktop.

It seems that many of the big boys such as Dell are pushing zero clients, ie
thin clients with no OS at all that hook directly into virtual desktops.
This seems like overkill when combined with cloud services.
