Hello, I am new to the mailing list and a novice unix user. I am  
trying to host my own website but am having problems connecting to my  
ISP. I am using a freebsd 7.2 box and have a thompson speedtouch usb  
modem connecting to a adsl line.
However when I try to set up a PPP connection using pppoa the driver  
says it can't find the modem.
The dmesg from the kernel says the modem is 'cdce0' - usb0 on uhub0.  
However there is no device 'cdce0' in /dev. Can anyone help me?
