Subject: [Klug-general] FLUG workshops afloat
Just to say that FLUG (Faversham Linux Users Group) had its first
workshop on Tuesday afternoon at The Elephant in Faversham. 

Three people showed up. One Ubuntu Linux was installed, and an email
address was set up for another person. Hopefully next week there will be
another laptop to install, and I'm lining up some touch typing software
(think I'll be using KTouch). 

So, if you know of anyone who is interested in free computer workshops
for beginners, with the emphasis on Free Software and Linux, do spread
the word. 

Also, if you can spare any time to help out, that would be welcome too.

First four Tuesday afternoons of every month, 3pm-6pm, The Elephant Inn,
31 The Mall, Faversham http://bit.ly/TheElephant 

Finally, would be a good venue for KLUG events as well, not a huge room,
probably seat 20? But free and the best beer in Kent ;)
