[Klug-general] Ubuntu 11.04 with Unity and then VirtualBox printing

Right. Tried that and the connection still seems to be valid. At least I 
can use MSIE under the VB/Windows program to see the Internet.

However looking for the printers still doesn't work although, 
interestingly, the Windows failure notice is different. Instead of 
saying that the printer doesn't exist or that the connection is wrong, 
it now says that it cannot connect to that printer. It is almost as 
though it can see the printer but is stopped from doing so.

Under Unity/Ubunutu you have to look around a bit for the System 
Settings menu - it's under your username in the top right-hand corner 
and took me ages to find.

I've taken another look at that and the printer stuff there and I've now 
noticed that although I've clicked both printers as 'enabled' and 
'shared' there is a notice that says 'not published see server settings'.

Not sure what I'm supposed to do about that but I shall keep ferreting 
around.
