[Klug-general] Occasional problem with eth0 link down after booting

Hi,

As in the subject line, sometimes after booting up the PC it has no
networking connection. A reboot later and it does.

I posted on the Arch Linux forums to try and get help there so perhaps
I could be helpful and file a bug report or something. Another user
has replied saying they have the same problem and the same hardware,
namely:

Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B PCI
Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 01)

Just wondering if anyone else experiences this, but is using a
different distro/hardware combination. Or, if someone with more
technical knowledge of networking has ideas about where the problem
might originate?

It's not a big deal, just quite irritating to have to start working in
the same vein as a m$ user ;-)
