that's the one.

I was thinking about zenytal but I tried it in a vm last night and wasn't
impressed.

so i'm back to plan A which is to put in 3 x 2tb disks in software raid 5,
up the ram and put stock ubuntu server on it.

That way I can retire my old server which is basically a 5 bar fire attached
to a memory card attached to a power line network (via extension leads) that
has to live in the garage because it melted my sky router in the summer.

Then I get lower power usage, more storage, less heat and faster network.
