Yeah, well IMHO Gentoo's Portage tree does have some funny layouts...

x11-terms/terminal

and it's only when I looked at the description: "A terminal emulator for the Xfce desktop environment."

that I went (again)

...numpty.

Lesson learnt... search the DESCRIPTION Paully.
