Hi all I had this email from coFWD in Rochester and thought that some of
you might be interested in coming along. There is also an option that we
hold KLUG meetings at the coFWD space. This would involve a cover charge
though - would this be something KLUG members would be happy with?

My name is Natalie and I'm part of the coworking community at coFWD in
Rochester. Carl Jeffrey has suggested I drop you a line to let you know
about an event we're organising on Saturday the 24th of August. It's called
the 'MacGyver Club' and the idea is to get a bunch of people to bring along
unfinished projects, repairs, stuff they'd like to tinker with or something
they're making - from stitching and crafting to hacking and playing with
electronics - and to spend a few hours working on their projects with
others.

We have a couple of Raspberry Pi owners who are heading down and it's
shaping up to be an afternoon of electronic tinkering so Carl suggested I
drop you a line to invite you along. If it sounds like your idea of a
decent way to spend a Saturday afternoon, we'd love to see you there.

All the details are here:

There's a small cover charge of £5 to cover afternoon tea and to help raise
some funds for the coworking space but we'll be aiming to provide much more
than £5 worth of entertainment ;) And if you know of anyone else who may be
interested, please feel free to spread the word. The more the merrier.
