I can certainly make any day but the 5th of October.
(I could make that too but I'd rather not.)
Can't think of something to say though.

KLUGGERS
When shall we meet up for the first series of talks at our new saturday morning venue in Maidstone?
Has anyone got some ideas for a presentation for tech talks?

Dear President,
After much groundwork I have finally achieved a positive outcome for KLUG.
Permission to announce this new venue on the mailing list, please, with a call for presentations and talks. Also there are very detailed directions to the venue, accessible by public transport.
Jim.

Dear James
Your details were passed to me by Debbie Saunders, although I believe that we have corresponded in the past about the Kent Linux User Group meeting at the Kent History and Library centre
I understand that you would like to use the library meeting room on a Saturday morning from 9.00-1.00pm every 3 months.
As you are a non profit community organisation we would not make a charge for hire of the space.
The room accommodates up to 12 people and is arranged in a boardroom layout of tables and chairs. There are sockets set into the tables and we have Wi Fi in the building. Please see below from our website:
Free Wi-Fi
Library visitors can now access the internet using their portable devices - such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones at 35 library locations. The facility is available from opening time until one hour before the library closes to adults, and children with Internet permission. You will need your library card number and PIN to log on.
Wireless sessions are limited to 1 hour and customers can access the wireless network for up to 5 sessions a day. Filtering is in place to ensure that our service is not used inappropriately and you need to conform to our Wireless Acceptable Use Policy (PDF, 20k).
The library locations offering free public Wi-Fi are:
Allington, Ashford, Birchington, Broadstairs, Canterbury, Cheriton, Cliftonville, Coldharbour, Coxheath, Cranbrook, Dartford, Deal, Dover, Edenbridge, Faversham, Folkestone, Gravesend, Herne Bay, Larkfield, Kent History and Library Centre in Maidstone, Margate, Paddock Wood, Ramsgate, Sandgate, Sandwich, Sevenoaks, Sheerness, Sittingbourne, Southborough, Stanhope, Summer House Drive, Swanley, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Whitstable.
Did you have a start date in mind? Would be happy to show you the room beforehand.
Best wishes
Clare
