True, but I find the I need the USB debugging features anyway , just as
an ordinary user (Like , don't disable display when on charge). And I
have the ADK installed anyway.

I used SFTP *clients* on the phone to transfer files, regularly, but if
I'm copying something as large as whole music collection, I often get
timeouts on the wireless stack (or I did with my last phone).

Personally I'd prefer to use USB mass storage, but there are issues
there.
