Then we from KLUG, must invade and spread the good word of FOSS
and yes; with Steam being ported onto Linux now, I see no reason not to attend,
only being in Margate, rather than Telford (Insomnia48) is a bonus.

Curious: How big of an event is it James?

I'm very into gaming :D after spending £1500 on my custom build pc (2yrs ago)...

Re: Linux and the Computer Game Festival

So is anyone from http://kentlug.org/ actually going along to
www.geek2013.co.uk anytime from Thursday the 21st to Sunday the 24th
February in Margate?

Some of my students from
http://www.kcollege.ac.uk/courses-in-kent/it-a-electronics.html  are
going for sure.

It seems a bit pricey and seems to generally ignore FOSS games and
Linux......any thoughts?

Not me
1) I'm not into games
2) I'm currently feeling fragile

So I only replied to alleviate the loneliness of total silence. ;)

You never know, there may be someone there with those.
