May I suggest one of the "Innovation Centres". There is one in Chatham 
which, I believe, was made available FOC for "hackers" as part of 
"hacker space" (or some such).   Perhaps they, or another Centre, will 
let the Software people meet there?

My contact there has moved on. I can try and find his details to see if 
he knows what the arrangements were and if it knows of other local schemes.
