[Klug-general] buying a laptop without windows

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a laptop in the UK without
Windows preinstalled on it?  I am deathly afraid of what M$ has done to
the UEFI/firmware settings so as to make the system unusable for linux.
