[Klug-general] Ubuntu server and crash/hang ?

Memtest86+ has saved me previously by identifying a bad stick of ram.  So
leave that test running overnight to make sure the cpu/memory/cache is all
stable.  This is bundled with many Linux OS's as an option in the grub boot
menu.  Have a spring clean and vacuum all your fans, filters and
heat-sinks.  I've also had a system stability problem caused by a power
supply that was dying, so swap that for a known good one if possible.
