[Klug-general] ssh woes

I'm still trying to ssh into my NAS box, and I've come across a couple
of things regarding ssh that I'm not sure of. Like -

- when I try to do 'ssh boudiccas at 192.168.1.104' it replies
  "boudiccas at 192.168.1.104's password:
Permission denied, please try again.
Connection to 192.168.1.104 closed."

In this case I'm using the exact same password that I use to login to the web GUI for my synology box, and also the same password that I give to sftp in nautilus to access my personal home space on the box. If I am using the right password for ssh, why doesn't it accept it?

Have I got everything that I need to use for ssh installed properly
please? Currently I have 'openssh-client' and 'openssh-server' and
'ssh'. Am I missing some other program which is why I'm consistently
unable to ssh into any other places please?

This is the current state of ssh at the moment -

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
; sudo service ssh status
[sudo] password for boudiccas:
● ssh.service - OpenBSD Secure Shell server

So ssh is up and running here, but I still can't access anywhere else with it.

Can anyone help and advise please?

Thanks
Sharon.
