i have not come to meetings before, but hope to one day, and much like
the basement, it's a nice place... (not to say that the folly isn't!!!)

i'd be particularly interested in collaborations on campus to get some
linux stuff going - just received this from ISS earlier today upon a
query:

This is what Steve Bennett (Head of Systems) told me 2 years ago!

He also said this and supported plans and projects for a Free Media Lab / Linux Lab.
Unfortunately the funding didn't come through ;(
