I would really like to hear this, but it's a bit too far from Cumbria. 
I've been playing with 'cinepaint'. It looks good and is claimed to 
handle 16 bit color, but the plugin for processing raw files (ie 12 bit 
color raw files from my digital SLR) doesn't appear to work. I have one 
working under GIMP v2.2.

I did email Robin Rowe about this and he forwarded my query to the 
relevant address, but so far no joy. Maybe you could bend his ear on 
this one.

I would like to be able to use 'cinepaint'. It's more snappy than GIMP.

I hope that all is well down in the deep south.
