Hi Guys,
Found this today, thought I'd bring peoples attention to it:
http://www.tlm-project.org/
They are setting up bit-torrent links to ISO's for distributions.
For those who have not heard of bit torrent, it is a protocol for distributing
data. Rather than just downloading (as with ftp or http), you also upload the
file to others at the same time. This helps to share the bandwidth cost
associated with distributing large files and decreases traffic across large
networks (you download from those closest to you).
Note: the protocol also tries to ensure that users upload as much as they
download - if they don't peers in the distribution automatically throttle
down the speed at which the offending user receives his download, so bear
this in mind :-)
